  1. SOLAS Regulation III/32.3

    Recognition that the equipment fully complies with the requirements of the MED (Marine Equipment Directive) will be denoted by a 'Ships Steering Wheel' which must be on all equipment sold to European community ships of 500 tons or more in size.

    This regulation requires every commercial vessel to carry at least one SOLAS approved immersion suit for each person an board, at all muster stations, and extra suits at any remote watchpoint or work station. All suits must be clearly marked and easily accessible. All suits must be regularly maintained and serviced at a SOLAS approved service station
