Our detailed ISO 9001 plan garantees you the best quality (17 quality controls before, during and after production). NOMEX^© garments are lighter and more comfortable, whilst offering excellent protection in flame tests and radiant heat tests. SIOEN offers a wide range of NOMEX^© based fire suits. DuPont^TM THERMO-MAN^©
The THERMO-MAN^© test simulates the survival chances of a fire fighter, in case he would be confronted with a flash-over situation. The fire suit is mounted on the nude THERMO-MAN^© mannequin (without underwear).
Then the suit is set in a ball of fire during 8 seconds. Temperatures mount up to 1,000 degrees. After the 8 seconds flash over, 122 sensors measure how much heat has gone through the layers of the THERMO-MAN^© mannequin. Sophistacted software makes a prediction how much 2nd and 3rd degree burns the fire fighter would have.
